James Willson

Managing Partner / Founder


James Willson founded CRE8IVE back in 2001 and today enjoys his position as Managing Director. Starting the business in the arena of web and graphic design the business quickly evolved into a market leader in the field of branding, campaign creation and rollout as well as web development. Today the business employs about 25 people and has clients in Canberra and across Australia.

Over the years James has worked on numerous campaigns on a national and a local level and is across all disciplines of the business.

James sits on numerous boards including The Canberra Hospital Foundation, the CGS Foundation, CIT Solutions, Lockr, MXA and RDA ACT.

A known contributor to Canberra, James acknowledges that the city is a great platform to create oneself and at the same time contribute to the fabric of the city.

James has been an EY Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist, appeared in the BRW Fast 100 list and received numerous awards within the area of business.

James loves working at the forefront of technology and combining this with the finest individuals he believes that CRE8IVE will continue to grow and develop through the success of a client’s objectives.

Alberto Florez

Creative Partner

Alberto joined CRE8IVE in 2004 as a graphic designer. His passion for creative design and knack for getting the best from people meant he quickly climbed the ranks to CRE8IVE business owner.

With an attitude of honesty and transparency, Alberto works closely with clients to foster a strong understanding of their needs. He is an expert in digital communication and understands how integrated solutions can best promote brands and communicate messages.

A creative at heart, Alberto loves to change perceptions. Whether it's through a website, new media technologies or a fantastic piece of design. He's happiest when he sees the CRE8IVE team succeed and clients satisfied.

Always pushing for excellence, his talent and deep knowledge of design makes it impossible for him to accept second best.
