The Canberra Brickworks in Yarralumla, was established in 1913 and has played a significant role in the building of the Nation’s Capital.
In 2016, following extensive community engagement, the Land Development Agency (LDA) presented an opportunity to local and national developers to suggest ways in which the historic site could be repurposed and revitalised, to enrich the Canberra cityscape with something entirely different.
CRE8IVE was given with the opportunity to work with the LDA, to create a visual identity for the renewal of the historic Brickworks site.
We developed a strong brand mark and visual identity that reflected the idea of ‘old meets new’ – a brand that respected the heritage of the site, but conveyed the endless possibilities of a new and revitalised hub, located on the city’s doorstep.
As part of the project, CRE8IVE worked closely with the LDA to create key messaging, a high-end sales prospectus package, press advertising, site signage and a sales flyer.
